About Suchita

Suchita is a Holistic Health Counselor certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) in Ayurvedic Nutrition.  This is a first-of-its-kind training in the U.S., which integrates western concepts with the wealth of Ayurvedic knowledge to offer a comprehensive study of the effects of food and nutrition on the human body, mind, and consciousness.

Ayurveda teaches you that it is not only what you eat, but also what you digest that matters. Poor digestion is often the root cause of many diseases. By incorporating Ayurveda into her lifestyle, Suchita witnessed remarkable changes that led to a holistic improvement in the quality of her family's lifestyle.

Her love for Ayurveda started through a humble journey of rejuvenation and rediscovery, which led her to a wellness centre in Dehradun, India in 2014. The eight days of Ayurvedic lifestyle had a profound and lasting influence on her, as a few years later she committed herself to develop her knowledge further by diving deep into the subject. Since then she has attended and advised her friends and family about the benefits of Ayurvedic lifestyle, focusing on how the right cooking techniques can lead to healthier nutrition.

Having grown up in India, in a household where Ayurveda has been the way of life for generations, Suchita made it her mission to share this amazing 7000-year old science to benefit everyone.

Her passion for a healthy lifestyle, her faith in the science, and her generosity make her a profound counsellor!

About Hansa

Hansa Melvani is a certified Holistic Health Practitioner accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). Born in India, raised in London and educated at Oxford University, Hansa was fortunate to grow up with an exposure to both Eastern and Western philosophies. Raising her own three children in New York City and working in early childhood education Hansa witnessed firsthand how the principles of Ayurveda can complement a conventional approach to medicine.

Hansa’s passion for holistic medicine emerged after attending her first Ayurvedic class and learning how we are all just microcosms of our universe, designed to live according to our individual body types in accordance with nature. Watching her son’s gastrointestinal issues improve through the simple lifestyle practices of Ayurveda further reinforced her faith in the science. She has now achieved a certification in Ayurvedic head massage and is currently studying to be a certified aromatherapist under the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA).

Ayurveda has improved Hansa’s life in multiple ways, improving her energy levels, sleep patterns, immunity, digestion and on more subtle levels increased her level of self awareness. Making simple changes in the diet and lifestyle of her family has lead to meaningful improvements in their quality of life. Hansa’s passion for helping others has translated to Something Holistic’s workshops where she teaches topics ranging from nutrition and digestion to anti aging and detox.
